Jonathan Marquez of California. An optimistic student of the school of life, passionate about arts, social media content creation, and advocacy, believes in leveraging your voice to catalyze positive change. 

Jonathan Marquez was born in California but grew up in Tijuana until he was 12, when he simultaneously lived in San Ysidro and Tijuana. During this time, he nurtured his passions for the arts and politics. After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a six-year community college education, where he earned several Associate Degrees and certificates in film and liberal studies.

Following his college graduation, Marquez embarked on a diverse career in the retail, hospitality, and entertainment industries. Throughout his professional journey, he dedicated himself to building the foundation for strong leadership roles.

In addition to his professional achievements, Marquez is a highly regarded video editor, photographer, and creative writer with a passion for painting. He is known for his outspoken advocacy for local and regional Californian issues, championing progressive causes.

Currently residing in California with his husband, Victor Cruz, and their two pets, Frida and Van Gogh, Jonathan Marquez continues to inspire and contribute to the community.
